Coordinator Training Course
Instructions for Pre-Work (Complete two days before the course)
Thanks again for participating in the "Virtual Phoenix SOAR Coordinator Training." As promised, here are the detailed instructions for the course. Please read these instructions carefully.
Before your live Phoenix SOAR Coordinator training, complete the training modules below. You can stop and start the course modules multiple times. We recommend you also read your Coordinator manual prior to the course and take notes, as needed. The curriculum follows the manual for each section. These modules will help you understand the goals of Phoenix SOAR and your role in the program.
All modules must be completed two days before the course, to participate in the live training on Thursday Training. If you are having difficulty with the completion of the modules, please click here and send us a message.

You will receive an email from the Phoenix Society with your pre-course assessment! Please take this before your course Thursday.

Live Course
The live course will be taught by a Phoenix SOAR National Instructor. The virtual training will be approximately two hours in length. This activity has been submitted to the Ohio Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The Ohio Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. (OBN-001-91)
Some requirements for the virtual training includes:
In order to actively participate in this course: Your camera must be on at all times, and you must be a quiet, private space with full focus on course content
Please check your audio and video settings prior to the beginning of the course
You must attend 100% of the training in order to become a Phoenix SOAR Coordinator
All modules and the pre-course verification assessment must be completed by the due date
Please be mindful of other participants' time and be ready for the course
In order to receive your continued education credit, the knowledge evaluation assessment must be completed within 5 days of the course date.
