Navigating Resources After A Burn Injury

As a case manager, Laura Pivonka works directly with injured workers, their family members and providers to facilitate Care Management to promote the injured worker’s optimal wellness, function and independence. Laura has been in healthcare for over 35 years. She has extensive experience in catastrophic injury, brain and spinal cord injury, and case management. Prior to becoming a case manager, Laura worked with neurological disease and injury cases and in home health. Through her work as a certified case manager, Laura facilitates the medical care and treatment of catastrophically injured workers. She collaborates with employers and insurance carriers to facilitate medical rehabilitation, enhanced function and an improved quality of life. Laura has been a case manager since 2000.
