Caregivers of Youth + Teens Panel

Fatu is a journeyman, was burnt in 2008 during a work accident, and is currently writing a book about surviving his accident. He has three children and a lovely wife. In 2014 Fatu made it to the US Paralympic team. Traveling around the world with disabled athletes enlightened him of the struggles of everyday life as not normal existence, where arms or legs or skin degeneration are a constant struggle. Fatu hopes to one day publish his book, work with children in a classroom as an English teacher, and watch his son's grow up and move away and enjoy life in the moment. Every moment we are in matters the most.
