Caregivers of Youth + Teens Panel

Catherine and her husband, John, are parents to 5 children, one of whom, Adam, sustained bathtub scald burns over 60% of his body at 14 months old.  Catherine and her family work continually at embracing the new normal since the accident but some days run more smoothly than others.    Adam is now 12 years old and is as happy and active as he can be.  Catherine was raised in Arizona but now resides with her family in northern Virginia.  She loves audio books, sunshine, substitute teaching and Shriners Pediatric Hospital.
