Senior Director of Development and Marketing

As the Senior Director of Development and Marketing, Bill works with a dynamic team leading the national expansion of the Phoenix Society Brand.

Bill joins the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors following a 27-year career with the Boy Scouts of America.  He has served Scouting in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and Maryland including 12 years as Executive Director & CEO.

Most recently, Bill served as  National Director, Business Development at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. In this role, he led a team of development professionals and was charged with establishing the Summit as a world-class destination for large scale events, corporate retreats, and specialty camping programs.

In addition to his work with the Phoenix Society, Bill is active in Rotary International and volunteers for several youth-service organizations.

Bill and his wife, Sheila have 2 daughters and reside in southern West Virginia.
