Peer Mentors

Become a Phoenix Society Peer Mentor

Peer Mentors are volunteers who share their wisdom, journey, and heart with their peer group at Phoenix World Burn Congress (WBC).

My favorite memory of the peer mentor program was the experience and growth you gain from people in the program. We have all been each other’s shoes and it’s a place to come together and feel safe, comfortable and a place where you feel you belong.

Peer Mentors

Phoenix Society Peer Mentors assist with the Young Adult Workshop at Phoenix WBC and gain experience in therapeutic programming. This is a great opportunity for young adult burn survivors, ages 18 to 25 years old, to gain volunteer and leadership experience.

The 2019 Peer Mentor Application is now closed - Please check back early next year for information regarding the 2020 Peer Mentor program!

Another Learning Opportunity
