Pam Peterson is entering the next phase of her career and has accepted a position with PolyNovo, a company that specializes in developing innovative medical devices. In her new role, she will work closely with burn centers, clinicians, and patients using PolyNovo products.
Pam has dedicated over 20 years to our organization and has immensely helped grow our programs and services to support our community. She has been a tireless and constant advocate for survivors and their families, the importance of aftercare, and the need for long-term support for those impacted by a burn injury. She has helped advance our peer support offerings, including leading Phoenix SOAR to become the gold-standard aftercare program. We are grateful for all of Pam's work throughout her time with Phoenix Society - and her impact will be felt for many years to come. Although her last day is March 3rd, we are excited to have her continue to support our community as a Phoenix volunteer.
In the interim, we are happy to share that Sandra Cramolini will be pausing her tenure on our Board of Directors and joining the Phoenix Society staff to help transition into the next phase of our programming. Sandra is a former nurse administrator, burn center director, and current business owner who remains active within the burn space as a consultant and aftercare advocate. Sandra is a Phoenix SOAR trainer who helped us evolve the program to digital delivery and has years of experience utilizing many of Phoenix Society programs with her former patients. Her expertise and deep understanding of the hospital environment, Phoenix SOAR, and our community will be extremely valuable during this transition.
