Leslie's journey as a burn survivor began when she was nine months pregnant. Now, almost 30 years later, she's reconnecting with burn community after her grandson sustained burns on his hands.

Meet Gayle Petrillo

Gayle refers to herself as a survivor who has recently come out of hiding. After becoming trained as a Phoenix SOAR Peer Supporter, she attended Phoenix WBC: Engage to gain skills and knowledge to help others.
