What is a Matching Gift?

A matching gift is a type of gift in which companies match donations that employees make to organizations. When an employee makes a donation, and requests a matching gift from their employer, the employer will then make a donation.

Step 1

Enter your company name to check for eligibility. (Tip: check your spouse’s employer as well!)

Step 2

Review the Guidelines, then complete your company’s Matching Gift Form (you’ll submit this on your company’s website, or through your HR team).

Step 3

Your company sends the matching gift donation to Phoenix Society once they receive verification.

Don’t see your employer’s name? Contact your HR administrator about their matching policy.
