Steve Lieberman came out of retirement to join the Phoenix Society in 2018. Hoping to give back to the community, he believed his marketing background could help enhance Phoenix Society's awareness both locally and nationally.

Steve received his MBA from the University of Chicago and began his professional career at SC Johnson (Johnson Wax) in 1978 as a Budget Analyst. He held various financial positions until 1982, when he transferred to Marketing and later General Management. Steve managed many household brand names in North America, France, and the UK, including Pledge, Windex, Glade, and Raid.

While at SC Johnson, Steve lived abroad for close to three years, first as Marketing Director for the French company and then as General Manager for the British company. After SC Johnson, Steve held a number of Executive positions, including President of Pearle Vision, CEO of Enzymatic Therapy, and Managing Director - Amway North America.
